This book fills a need for a basic MatLAB text that introduces its capabilities and points the new user in the right direction for doing more advanced work. Presented in two parts, the introductory section assumes no prior knowledge of the topic and shows readers how to handle very simple to more complex mathematical operations. The second part covers many of the more advanced topics, such as using MatLAB to help with simulations and using the MatLAB language for programming.
