This edition of NFPA 105 was approved as an American National Standard on August 17, 2006. 19 p. This standard shall prescribe minimum requirements for smoke door assemblies for use in providing safety to life and protection of property from smoke. The purpose of this standard shall be to provide a means to restrict the movement of smoke through door assemblies in order to maintain a tenable environment.
